Welcome to Liveable Neighbourhoods
The 4th annual Liveable Neighbourhoods conference will discuss the components needed to create streets that work for everyone.
Expert panels will share their insights on what is required to create better streets for everyone, including building the case for change, how to secure funding, good engagement, through to design, implementation, completion and monitoring.

There are a host of reasons why people-friendly streets are in all our interests. Not only do Liveable Neighbourhoods ease pressure on the NHS but they also boost local economies. They reduce road danger, improve air quality, strengthen community cohesion, encourage the use of public transport, are good for biodiversity and mitigate the risk of flooding.
This event will shed light on the benefits of creating a neighbourhood that is less car-dominant. There will also be the latest information on Transport for London’s Better Bus partnerships and Safer Streets programme.
